Santa Fe – unusual fishing village
Seems that all tourist groups In Venezuela go to island Margarita and all individual travelers are choosing Santa Fe for having rest in small, but beautiful fisherman village near Puerto la Cruz. Here you can find many “posadas” (hotels) for quite normal price (about 50 bolivares for double room), lots of sun and sea just in front of you.
In Santa Fe we’ve spent five days and it was like a heaven after overcrowded and dusty Caracas. If it’s not a weekend, in the day time sometimes you are alone on the whole beach, and the only one thing, that bothers you at night, is sound of waves.
What you can do in this town? Actually nothing – just have a good rest and relax. If you want to see some other beaches, you can pay some 15 bolivares for a boat driver (ask for this possibility in your hotel) and you will spent a beautiful day in the Caribbean Sea. If you are lucky, you will see dolphins, playing and jumping out of the water. These moments you’ll never forget.
