Two weeks for Trinidad & Tobago – it‘s almost nothing, but our plans to visit all South American countries and really high prices in these islands helped to make this decision. However, we succeed to see almost all Tobago island, giant leatherback turtles, Coroni national park, pitch lake in Trinidad ant many other things we like‘d very much.

Few hours in different cars and we are in Caripe. This is a small town in hilly area of Venezuela, where all the tourists go to see the longest cave in Venezuela, full of strange creatures - oil birds or “guacharos”.

Seems that all tourist groups In Venezuela go to island Margarita and all individual travelers are choosing Santa Fe for having rest in small, but beautiful fisherman village near Puerto la Cruz. Here you can find many “posadas” (hotels) for quite normal price (about 50 bolivares for double room), lots of sun and sea just in front of you.

Yes, we have spent five days in Caracas, No, we’re not suiciders. It was the case, that jurists usually call “force majeure” and we call “semana santa”. The last week before Easter, when we came to Caracas, every citizen wanted to go out of the city, therefore all bus tickets to all directions were sold and all cars were full of rushing people. Result – more than enough time to explore capital of Venezuela.

We left our home, families, friends and previous jobs for one year - just because we want to catch one of ours biggest dream. That's way right now we are traveling around South America and have plans visit all countries of this continent in 1-1,5 years. Want to find out more?
